Springfield, ILĀ  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – This week, Larry McClain Jr. and Kelton C. Galmore were found guilty for their roles in a triple homicide that happened in Springfield in 2021.

The event took place in August 2021, when three victims were found at a home in the 2500 block of S. 10th Street. The victims were Bryant K. Williams, 27, from Houston, Texas, and Savante English, 27, and Keyera Gant, 25, both from Springfield.

In February 2022, Galmore and another man, Joseph W. Hembrough, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder. McClain was arrested the following month. Earlier this month, Hembrough took a plea deal and was sentenced to 20 years in prison, according to our news partners at WAND TV.

After an eight-day trial, McClain and Galmore were found guilty of first-degree murder and armed violence. They will be sentenced in December.
