Meet Lucas – APL Dog of the Week

/APL

Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Meet Lucas, a heartwarming white Lab mix with an inspiring story of resilience. Despite a tough start in life, including losing one of his front legs as a pup and experiencing some difficulty with his back legs, Lucas’s spirit remains unbreakable.

This super sweet boy, with a smile that lights up any room, is the epitome of loyalty and affection, always eager for pets and belly rubs. Lucas does need to be carried out to use the bathroom, but he is house trained and adapts well with a little extra care. He would thrive in a home where he can be the only pet, receiving all the love and attention he deserves.

If you’re looking for a loving and courageous companion, Lucas is the perfect match for you. For more information or to adopt, call the APL at 217-544-7387 or fill out an application at apl-shelter.org!
