Traffic Advisory: Mathers Road and Pasfield Street closures start Monday

Springfield, ILĀ  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The City of Springfield has announced two road closures starting Monday.

Mathers Road Closure

The westbound lane of Mathers Road, east of Cockrell Lane, is currently partially closed. Starting Monday, Mathers Road will undergo a full closure in this area to facilitate further repairs. The closure is anticipated to last for three days, with the road expected to reopen on Thursday. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time to avoid delays.

Pasfield Street Closure

Pasfield Street will be fully closed between Cook Street and Edwards Street. This closure is for water repairs.
