SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – What’s the deal with Jerry Seinfeld coming to Springfield?
The University of Illinois Springfield Performing Arts Center says, in a news release, one of the most successful comedians of all time will perform at the center December 19, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. Tickets start at $67.50.
Tickets go on sale for the public next Friday, September 18, at 10:00 A.M. but those who have FRIENDS memberships get first crack at tickets on Wednesday, September 16.
Seinfeld got his crack at stardom when he appeared with Johnny Carson in 1981, which led to his iconic sitcom eight years later. Seinfeld Golden Globe, Emmy, and People’s Choice Awards. It also was named the “Greatest Show of All Time” by TV Guide in 2009, among other accolades. He has, as of late, been involved with several specials and projects for Netflix.
