Here are the local teams still in the state high school basketball tournament hunt

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Thursday is a big day for local high school girls basketball teams in the hunt for a state title, and one local boys team is also in the hunt.  Here’s the latest info:

IHSA Girls State Semifinals (At ISU in Bloomington-Normal)

Chatham Glenwood vs. Trinity (Friday / 10am)

2A
Pleasant Plains vs. Breese Central (Thursday / 2:30pm)

Mt. Pulaski vs. Brown County (Thursday/ 10am)

Boys Basketball

Rochester beat Staunton Wednesday night 52-49.  They move on to play Quincy Notre Dame Friday night at 7pm at Pleasant Plains for the Sectional Championship
