Crime of the Week:  Help needed identifying suspect in downtown Springfield burglaries

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – This week, Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to two commercial burglaries.

On February 15 around 9:30 pm, an unknown male forced entry into Daisy Jane’s, 9 W Old State Capital, causing over $1,500 in damages. On February 16th around 8pm, an unknown male forced entry into Custom Cup, 319 E. Monroe, causing over $2,000 in damages. The suspect in both cases had a similar build and clothing.
