(WAND) – Two Central Illinois women are accused of grooming children.

Alley Bardfield (pictured, left), 32, is a former Decatur substitute teacher accused of sexually abusing and grooming an eleven-year-old friend of her son. The arrest followed an investigation into a possible inappropriate relationship between Bardfield and her sixth-grade son. Police say the victim’s mother learned of the encounter while checking her son’s phone and social media.

A Christian County woman is charged in an unrelated case. Ashley Getz (pictured, right), 36, is accused of sending inappropriate, unwanted texts to children.
