The Beauty Den: Benefit Brand

My husband and I were out on a rare dinner with no kids on Saturday (Thanks grandparents!) After a delicious dinner at Mimosa we headed to Ulta at my husband’s suggestion. He likes to use Crew products on his hair and he was running low. I suspect he saw my eyes light up and knew that this, in my opinion, is a perfect ending to a date night. I could bring a sleeping bag and stay there overnight if that was allowed.

I would like to give a shout out to Mitzi, an Ulta consultant who greeted us upon our arrival. Mitzi listens to the show and reads this blog!!! Thank you Mitzi, for letting me know that someone other than my mom likes it!

Mitzi and I started talking about Benfit. Their packaging is adorable and sheer genius, their products are flawless, and the price is on my upper end of alright.

She showed me what I was looking for. A cute lil package I had seen recently in the catalog. It includes their “POREfessional” Pro balm to minimize pores, the “HOOLA” bronzer and “Watt’s UP” highlighter.

I was so excited I took the picture of it in the car!

I love a good bronzer, because I don’t think it’s sexy when you can see the veins under my skin. This is pretty, light and natural.

The POREfessional balm is a product I did not even know I desperately needed until I got a sample of it months ago. It is AMAZING. It melts into your skin. It feels silky and glides right over the pores and blurs them. I LOVE it. I wish the sample you get with this pack was bigger, but I will be buying the full size when this runs out.

I haven’t used the highlighter yet, only because I think with the extra shimmer I will only use it at nightime. You know, when I’m going clubbing with my squad. *sigh* Or maybe just the next date night with my husband where we get home when the sun is still out.
