I LOVE these items I’ve just recently added to my skincare. This month is all about the love….So I’m sharing these discoveries with you!
Mario Badescu Peptide Renewal Cream. Peptides plump up the skin and hyaluronic acid helps your skin retain moisture. It is thick, but not greasy and it just has a light, clean scent. I put this on as a last step in my night time skincare routine. It’s helping me combat winter dryness! Here is the link. My jar says Peptide Renewal Cream on it. The must have changed the packaging because this says protein cream, but it’s the same ingredients.
Lil Scrubbies! Silicone facial cleaning pads. This is an amazingly cheap find that is just what I needed!! You need these in your life. Exfoliation is key to good skincare. You gotta get those dull, dead skin cells off to reveal the fresher younger skin underneath! These silicone pads have little bumps that help slough off dead skin while scrubbing away dirt and makeup. The best thing is that you can reuse them over and over again! Spray them with rubbing alcohol and let air dry to kill bacteria, or I’ve even popped mine into the dishwasher! They come in packs of two, so you always have a clean one in rotation.
e.l.f. Mineral Mist. I can’t find it in retail stores and I’ve only seen it on their website. I’m almost finished with the first bottle I’ve purchased and I’m going to buy in bulk from now on! It’s on sale right now for $3/bottle (!!!)It says it’s usually $6. I hope this doesn’t mean they will be discontinuing it! Here are the ingredients: Witch Hazel, Rosemary, Chamomile, Honeysuckle, Aloe and Vitamin B. I would buy this if it were just witch hazel and aloe, since those are two natural ingredients that are SO beneficial for your skin. I spray this on after my makeup in the morning, after I use toner at night, and in the middle of the day if my skin feels dry! Not even kidding, I just sprayed my face after typing that last sentence. (ahhhhhhh! refreshing)
Happy Valentines Day! Try these out and love your skin! 🙂
