How it all started (radio) – In 1988 I started at Z100 radio in Eau Claire, WI. My first job was mowing the lawn and playing the mascot! 3 months later I got an on-air shift and I’ve been doing radio ever since.
How it’s going – I’ve been in Springfield since 1999 and been doing mornings ever since (WDBR and 101.9 The Wolf!). Dina and I have done mornings together for 21 years.
My favorite local hobby – Running and Biking the trails here in Springfield. My favorite is the Sangamon Valley Trail, I also love being on the IDOT trail and the Chatham Trail.
My favorite local event – Sweetcorn Festival, the Little Miracles 5K, the Lincoln half marathon and of course the State Fair!
My family – My wife Jane and I have been married for 22 years and we have one son (Jacob – 21) who attends Kent State University.
Where I came from – I’ve lived in various cities in Wisconsin including Medford, Eau Claire and Kenosha. I grew up in Medford.
My hidden talent or claim to fame – I produced and sang on a song that was played…..on the Space Shuttle!
