Job seekers have another tool in their search for work that they may not even be aware of.

Illinois Department of Employment Security Director Jay Rowell says the Illinois Job Link site lists nearly 7,000 positions in the central Illinois area in a number of occupations. Users can focus their search with the site’s on-line tools.

“One of the great features of the site is that you can customize your resume so you can highlight different skills sets for every job you apply,” says Rowell.

Included on the site are 150,000 postions across the state.
